【家庭幽默对话】爸爸的期望

吉米的鞋子破损了，在下面的口语对话里，爸爸说如果考个不错的成绩，就给他买一双漂亮的新鞋子，可惜吉米并不奢望考个好成绩，你怎么看呢？

Jimmy: Dad, my shoes are broken.

吉米：爸爸，我的鞋子破损了。

Dad: Oh, that's terrible.

爸爸：哦，真糟糕。

Jimmy: Can you buy me a new pair of shoes?

吉米：可以给我买一双新鞋子吗？

Dad: I'll buy you a new pair of shoes if you get the top three in the next exam.

爸爸：如果下次的考试你能够得前三名，我就给你买一双新鞋。

Jimmy: Why do you want to be admitted to the top three? You know my grades are not good.

吉米：为什么要考前三名呢？你知道我的成绩一直不好。

Dad: Study hardly, and you'll have a new pair of shoes.

爸爸：好好学习，你就会有一双新鞋子。

Jimmy: Don't worry, I'll be the third.

吉米：放心吧，我一定会考个第三名。

Dad: Why not the first, or the second.

爸爸：为什么不是第一名，或者第二名。

Jimmy: Dad, how can you have such a big hope.

吉米：爸爸，你怎么可以有这么大的奢望。
